Blurb:

He told me to settle.
He asked what was wrong with me.
He called me an easy target.
That was within minutes when I first met Caden Banks.
I labled him an *sshole, but he was more than that. Arrogant. Smug. Alpha.

He was also to-die -for gorgeous, and my stepbrother's fraternity brother.

Okay, yes I was a little naive, a tad bit socially awkward, and the smallest amount of stalker-ish, but if Caden Banks thought he could tell me what to do, he had another thing coming.

I came to college with daydreams about being with my stepbrother, but what if I fell for the anti-stepbrother instead?

*Stand-alone novel

My Review:

Ever since the first mention of Anti-Stepbrother on Facebook, for some reason I knew, I just had to have it.  Now, after reading it, I know why, this book was AMAZEBALLS. I literally could not put this book down and even ignored sleep to finish it (I had to be up at 7 AM to get my kids ready for school....lol). This is my first Tijan novel but it definitely won't be my last (I already have my eye on a few others). I really enjoyed the fact that this wasn't your run of the mill Stepbrother romance story (which don't get me wrong I do enjoy) it may seem to start out that way but then segues into something much more compelling.

Summer Stoltz is a beautiful girl who doesn't always see that for herself. Her high school crush Kevin Matthews, whom all the girls want to be with (and most of them have), ends up becoming her stepbrother. Talk about awkward family dinners. Summer finds it hard to turn off her feelings for Kevin, even after he goes off to college. Summer can't wait to graduate so she can follow Kevin and finally make her dream of being with Kevin a reality. Once at college, Summer's rose colored glasses, where Kevin is concerned, start to show cracks and his true self is finally revealed to her. Enter tall, dark, and handsome Caden Banks, well known man on campus who rubs Summer the wrong way upon first meeting him. To add insult to injury, Summer soon learns that Caden is in the same fraternity as her stepbrother Kevin.

Caden Banks is a man of few words and even fewer people he would consider a good friend. He is a well respected member of the fraternity Alpha Mu and shows up to all places and events like he should but manages to find a way to slink off and do his own thing. Enter Summer Stoltz, a freshman who happens to be the stepsister of Kevin Matthews, his hated fraternity brother. For some reason there is just something about Summer that has him second guessing his first impression of her.

After a few run in's with each other Summer and Caden develop a close friendship. To say that Kevin isn't happy about this would be an understatement. Caden and Summer both have family history that they both want to keep to themselves. But soon their family drama starts to spill over into their personal lives and affecting everything around them. Then the unthinkable happens and threatens to shatter their whole world apart.

To say any more would ruin this truly phenomenal book. Tijan's ability to tell a story with intriguing and complex characters is flawless. If you are searching for a book that will keep you hooked from start to finish then Anti-Stepbrother is the perfect book. On a scale from 1-5 I must give Anti-Stepbrother a 10. Yes, it is off my scale but for a book to make me give up my precious sleep it must be considered a truly worthwhile book. Whether you are looking for a great college romance, a Stepbrotherish romance, conflict, or just an all-around fantastic read you really can't go wrong with this book. Everyone aged Adult 16/17+** should rush right out to buy Anti-Stepbrother and find out why Summer isn't the only girl who is interested in the Anti-Stepbrother Caden.

When Sawyer Reed wants something, he gets it.
And I WANT her.
She doesn't know it yet, but she's already mine.
Her resistance is futile because once I start a play, I always follow through. And I ALWAYS win.
Nothing, not even the deep-seated hate I have for my rival, Jacob Byrd, is going to keep me from my end game.
And my end game is Gretchen Cole.
But I have to keep my head in the game. Everyone knows what happens to a quarterback when he loses his focus. He gets SACKED.

My Review:

I have LOVED Tabatha's books ever since I read Little Black Book back in 2014. Sacked did not disappoint. Sacked had my undivided attention with it's first sentence. I'd tell you what it was but what fun would that be. You have to read this gem of a book for yourself. Tabatha is such a phenomenal writer that I must warn you that once you pick up one of her books you will be hooked for life.  One more thing you may or may not want to have a box of tissues handy. Just saying....lol

Sawyer Reed is used to girls falling at his feet to be with him because is suck an amazing quarterback. Let's face it, he has the looks, the charm, and what girl doesn't love a quarterback. Even with those things going for him he doesn't have the one girl he wants falling at his feet and that would be Gretchen Cole. Sawyer has to pull out all the stops to get Gretchen to give him the time of day.

Gretchen Cole is a no nonsense kind of girl. She see's all the girls fawning all over Sawyer and she wants not part of it. Gretchen is on a mission and nothing Sawyer Reed says or does is going to change her course of action. But Gretchen has a secret, that if it got out, would ruin all her well laid plans.

Sawyer pursues Gretchen like it's his life's mission, while Gretchen's well placed wall is starting to crumble where Sawyer is concerned. These two strong willed individuals try to fight their attraction but it doesn't seem to be working but all that glitters is not gold and forces beyond their control factor into their lives.

I really can't say anymore with out spoiling this book for somebody. There is so much more that goes on that will having you saying omg or what the heck. Tabatha knows how to tell a story and she definitely knows how to make that story HOT! If you are looking for a great book with great characters, hidden agenda's, childhood rivalries, or just an all and all great book than Sacked is the one for you. If you are new to Tabatha's work Sacked is a good introduction. Everyone adult 18+ needs to run out and pick up their copy of Sacked and let Sawyer and Gretchen tell their side of the story.
